Today's Bible Verse

"The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up His contenance upon you, and give you peace."

  1. Hi Rebekah!
Hope you're having a great week so far. I'm sure you've been busy, but I've missed your posts! :) Hope you had a wonderful time with your great-grandparents'!
    Love in Christ,

  2. I haven't posted here yet, but I just wanted to say (after having read some of the comments) that I think it's wonderful you have this blog encouraging young girls and ladies.

No, I don't believe you should be "teaching" older women - but right on your home page you state the purpose of your blog and who you are. Any reader of your blog can then make the decision of how they want to proceed. They may ask you questions or comment on your posts - but you are certainly allowed to have your own blog, express your own beliefs and even answer any questions from readers.

I myself did not have any older, Godly women to guide me - save one! Praise the Lord for her!

Anyway, just wanted to encourage you! No, you may not have all the right answers (and I doubt you would claim to), but you are doing your best in this quite feministic society we all live in. No doubt you will face dissenters. Try to take each comment with a grain of salt. Some may be legit and worth your time. Perhaps they may help you grow and learn. Others will simply try to bring you down. Be in prayer - that is best!

    God bless you dear~

  3. Hi Rebekah,
I have read your post and find it to provide a lot of interesting ideas, tips, hope, etc. I find it interesting that there has been a little 'confusion' (for lack of a better word) about your message or how to interpret it. I feel that everyone has something to offer and something that they can share/teach others, and a lot of folks seem to be negative because of your age. I believe that no matter what a persons age, 4 or 104, they have something to share and want to continue to encourage you in your walk with Christ. Hopefully God will help you to share things with others that will help them grow, and that others comments, suggestions and ideas will guide you in your walk and to continue to grow. We are all His children and have a lot to learn from His teachings and each other. Lori (the last person to comment) put it nicely. I look forward to continuing to see what you have and wish you much luck!
