God's Beautiful Creation!

These are pictures of a sunset that the Lord richly blessed us with the other day. I've never seen the sky look so beautiful. It's amazing the way God painted it with color, just for our enjoyment, and as a testement to His creativity! We serve an amazing artist, don't we? :)

These views of the beautiful sky could be seen from our front door. All of God's creation is breathtakingly beautiful, but I think that some of the most amazing and beautiful scenes in all of God's creation can be found in the sky.

  3. Wow how awesome. I couldn't help but notice your comment on the Ambrosetti's blog, did something happen or did Bradon have another seizure? You can leave a comment on your blog and I'll check back or leave it on mine. Olivia

I know what you mean, Mrs. Whitlock! So often we take God's beautiful creation for granted!

  7. God can make paintings better than any earthly artist can! Have you ever noticed that earthly artists can only mimic in their paintings the wonderful Creation that God made?!!

  8. Well, I think that they do mimic and imimitate God's creation to some extent, but also I think God lets artists "rearrange" His creation sometimes, so to speak. We can imagine what blue grass might look like, or a green moon, ect, and play around with it. You know, let our imagination rove. This is not trying to beat God or improve on His work, it's just working with Him as He allows us to do. I don't know if that makes any sense. You just got me thinking, because I love art and music and literature. :)

  9. Those pictures ARE beautiful! God truly is an amazing and innovative artist. Thank you SO much Rebekah for your sweet comments on my blog. I do go to Mayden Fair and you ladies are very smart and wise. I am in college with lots of homework and duties to attend to, so I don't get to read blogs as often as I would like, but I will certainly put a link to your blog on my page so I can take a look at it as often as I can. It is so wonderful to see a young, vibrant woman like you trying to live her best for God in the midst of this sin-stricken world. I applaud the Lord in you for His grace and mercy on your life.

    Blessings, dear sister,

    Leah

    Leah(Sammybunny),

That's so true! I was simply taken aback by the amazing creativity and beauty God had painted that evening sky with! To Him be the glory, great things He has done!

You're welcome, Leah! I have so enjoyed reading your blog!! I will definitely be adding it to my links list!! Your posts have been such a huge encouragement to me in the past 2 days! Thank you so much for your kind words. I assure you that any wisdom we have has come completely from God and only Him-it's nothing of ourselves! :) It's only by His grace that we've been so transformed according to His Word and commands. I'm so glad you've enjoyed our blogging over on Mayden Fair! :) I hope it continues to be a blessing to you, and to many others. I'm sure you're very busy, but I wanted to thank you so so much for the really sweet comments you've left on my blog!! :) They've been such a gift of encouragement.

May the Lord richly bless you!!

  13. Hannah,

I'm sure your views from the mountain were simply breathtaking! :) The Lord truly is so merciful, isn't He, to bless us so richly with this beautiful creation? How good He is to us!

    Anna Naomi,

How true! I don't get how people can look at creation and say that this beautiful, intricate artwork just "came about"! It's an insult to our intelligence, that's for sure!

    So true, heart of praise!
