Question and Answer Week

Hi, ladies! I hope all of you are having a wonderful day! Well, I'm beginning something new this week, entitled Question and Answer Week. From now through next Wednesday, you can ask me questions in interview style. You can post your questions in a comment or you can send them to me via e-mail: living_for_my_Lords_glory@hotmail.com . Then I will post those questions here on my blog, along with my answers. This Q and A week is for the benefit of those of you who may not know me as well, due to the fact that you may be new to my blog, etc. However, this is also for those of you (i.e. my church friends) who have known me for a while but have some questions you would like answered. These can be questions regarding my beliefs on Biblical womanhood, Biblical femininity, and Biblical daughterhood, questions regarding my testimony, questions regarding my favorites, (i.e. favorite color, movie, recipe), etc.

Remember: questions can be sent from today through next Wednesday.

Have a great week ladies! I'm looking forward to receiving your questions.

  3. Hey ok this is a really good question Beka. What do you think of my moms homemade cookies and if you have ever tried them, her homemade brownies? Oh how is life treating you right now?

  4. Let's see what I can think of ...

How did you get the idea to start this blog?

Who is your favorite woman in the Bible?

What are you studying in school right now?

How did you start coming to our church? (If that's not too nosy.)

That's all I can think of for now.

What is your favorite story/character in the Bible?

Your devotionals are great! Have you ever thought of putting them together as a book?

Do you like my mother's famous no-bake chocolate oatmeal cookies? ;)

  8. Andrew,

Hi! I'm hoping to get a Christian documentary called "The Return of the Daughters". I'm sure I'll also get clothes, hopefully some books I asked for, etc.

    Wow, that's late!

Have I ever had your mom's cookies and brownies? I don't remember.... If she made them, then I'm sure they'd be great! Life's good; thanks for asking. The Lord has truly blessed me in so many ways!

  10. I'll ask one :o)

What skills or goals are you working on to prepare yourself for your (God willing) future husband and little ones?

  11. Here's some more ...

What is the homemaking skill you are best at and/or enjoy the most?

What is the one you are worst at and/or hate the most, if any?

Many believers lately seem to be looking into male and female roles a lot, and how they are designed and what makes them different. I've been thinking about myself, as I told you once, and I see your blog is meant to encourage young women to follow God's plan for them. This is all important. But I wonder, what, in your opinion, are some things that both men and woman are made to be and can do in Christ? What is some common ground they have?

Are you a night owl or a morning person?

What some traits, likings, ect, that you share with your parents?

  12. Whoops ... I meant I've been thinking about IT myself, not myself. (Though I probably do too much of that anyway. :P)

  13. O.K., here's another one while I'm at it.

Did you ever make a really embarassing typo here on the blog and not notice it for a while?

That should be enough from me, I think. :)

  14. One more from me - Is your birthday coming up? Some of the comments seem to indicate that. It could just be Christmas, now I think about it. When is your birthday, though?

  15. ok, I got some more for ya!)

What's your favorite book in the Bible?

Do you like to wear skirts?

What do you think about make-up?
    do you wear it?

What kind of books do you like to read?

  16. Could you discuss tattoos and piercings at some point?
    Thanks heaps!

  17. What are your thoughts on Titus 2, the older women instructing the younger women. What older Titus 2 women are in your life and how have they influenced you in paths of righteousness?

Also I don't hear anything about your mother, how has she influenced your Christian walk?

  18. I am curious if (1) you have tried studying or thinking about feminism from another point of view, and (2) if you have considered the sociological aspect of femininity (i.e. that gender traits come primarily from being raised in a certain environment, or studies that show male babies tend to be more emotive, ect.)

  19. Lisa,

Thanks for the wonderful question. I love talking about my mom and the other dear ladies in my life, so I look forward to finally answering this question....I just so happened to look back at this old post and realized I had never answered your question. I'm so sorry about that!!

Anonymous, I just finished writing up my response to your questions and it will be posted asap. :) Thanks!
